What are All Togethers?

Every month, typically on the first Sunday of every month, all of the House Churches in our network gather to enjoy God and each other for a service that feels very close to a typical Sunday worship service.

We worship, share stories of God working, pray for each other, hear God’s word, and observe communion together. And, yes, there’s childcare!

Visiting an All Together is a great way to get to know us.

What to Expect on your first visit to an All Together…

Firstly, we want you to know that rolling into a room of new people can require a lot of courage! Good on you! 

If the All Together is happening at Powell Community Center - enter on the north side of the building! We gather in the large conference rooms on the north side of the property. 

If you have kids, you can check them into childcare by going to the table directly in front of you as you enter. We provide childcare for kids ages 0-9 years old, ages 10 and up join us in the service.

Once the kids get settled, join us in the large conference rooms. Worship will begin shortly after 10 AM. It’s not uncommon for us to take things slow. All of our House Churches like to greet each other after being apart for a month, so we give some time to be relational. 

One of our leaders typically starts the service with a call to worship to help us attune to God’s presence. And then the service will start!

You’ll notice quickly that we keep things pretty basic. There’s not a huge band - a few guitars and singers. All the house lights stay on. The slides are usually in black and white, and we do a lot of story-sharing. All of this is on purpose. We try hard to keep things simple. 

The service is usually over between 11:30 and 11:45. Those with kids will get them from childcare, and then we’ll spend more time chatting and being together in the conference room. 

Other notes:

We are a casual crew. No need to wear your “Sunday best.”

We don’t have coffee services, but you are welcome to bring your own!
