The approved ministry budget for 2024 was set at $333,000.

By year’s end, we’re on track to spend about $310,000, which is good news—we’ve been able to save a bit on expenses.

BUT—here’s where we see a growth opportunity. Our projected income from regular giving in 2024 is around $244,000, leaving a $66,000 gap. We’ve been able to cover that gap using our savings account throughout the year.

While we’re grateful to have savings to fall back on, our goal is not to rely on it for day-to-day ministry expenses. Our savings are meant to fuel future growth initiatives, not just maintain current operations.

With that in mind, we’re setting a year-end giving goal of $66,000. This will allow us to replenish our savings and ensure we have a strong financial foundation for the ministry ahead in 2024.

2025 Growth Initiative

While much of 2025 will center on the “Year of the Heart,” one key vision point ahead for us in 2025 is the hire of a new senior ministry team member.

This person will oversee all of the executive administration of the network as well as initiate systems to execute future vision initiatives the senior staff and elders discern the Gathering Network is to pursue.

Think of this person as a high-level team member who will put wheels on vision, creating systems to help the network grow and scale. This is a crucial staff role, and we are believing God will provide.
